We are thrilled to announce the release of our latest software, version 3.7.2. This release has major improvements and new features designed to enhance functionality and user experience across various applications for surveillance.

Performance with Dual Channel Processing

New key features of software release 3.7.2 are the introduction of the 4100-OEM dual processor, and the integration of dual channel processing into our 1750-OEM. These advancements mark a significant leap forward in processing power, enabling smoother operation and heightened efficiency.

The 4100-OEM is our most powerful processor, delivering unparalleled performance to meet the demands of modern surveillance environments. Meanwhile, the addition of dual processing capabilities for the 1750-OEM expands its functionality and adds more options for size-constrained applications running a limited number of features.

Improved Tracking and Detection Capabilities

In response to evolving needs, version 3.7.2 introduces improved tracking and detection features. Operators now have the flexibility to select what type of track (primary or secondary) a detection can transform into, either by index or from picture-in-picture (PiP), offering greater control and precision in monitoring activities.

RTP MPEG2-TS (H.264 or H.265) now supports recording KLV and video data to .ts extension. More cameras have been confirmed for compatibility. Now close to 150 cameras confirmed, which helps ease of the integration with our firmware.

Management and Accessibility Improvements

The new release introduces a web browser-based file manager and HTTP server. This allows integrators to download syslog, SD card, parameter, and license files remotely for better efficiency.

Elevating ARM Library Functionality

SightLine’s engineers also worked on improving features available with our ARM Library. Here is what is new for updates to our Library:

  • ARM Library: We are pleased to announce that blending is now supported.
  • Enhanced ARM Library Functionality: The Library has seen significant enhancements, including Jetpack 5.1.2 and CPU Render Mode support. We also have added examples demonstrating how to utilize GStreamer or V4L2 for capture.
